What data we collect

We collect minimal data:

  • Email address — only if you sign up for our newsletter. Never shared with third parties.
  • Cookies — see our cookie section below.

Cookies

Essential cookies

Required for the site to function. These cannot be disabled. They include session management and your cookie preference.

Affiliate tracking cookies

When you click on flight or hotel links, our affiliate partners (Aviasales, Booking.com) may set cookies to track that your booking came via FootyTrips. This is how we earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. These cookies are only set when you click an affiliate link and consent to all cookies.

Analytics cookies

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how users find and use FootyTrips. No personal data is stored.

Affiliate links

FootyTrips contains affiliate links to flights, hotels and ticket platforms. When you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission. This does not affect the price you pay. We only recommend services we believe provide genuine value to our users.

Third party services

We use the following third party services:

  • football-data.org — live fixture data. No personal data shared.
  • Aviasales / Travelpayouts — flight affiliate tracking.
  • Booking.com — hotel affiliate tracking.
  • Unsplash — city photography. No personal data shared.

Under UK and EU GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent for cookie tracking at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK Information Commissioner's Office)
